The kiddos had a great time (as did the parentals I might add!)
We managed to split the trip in 2 parts again on the way home (thanks to the "The Blacks" and "The Fulks" for letting a few weary travelers eat and rest on our way back to Nashville!)
So this trip was really centered around the Crayola Factory experience from the beginning. Oliver had seen it on one of his shows many months ago and mentioned he would like to go there.
4 floors of exhausting crayon goodness!!
We spent a good 6 hours there - suffice to say WE ALL slept well that night!
We ended the day opening presents from Grandma, Grandad and Auntie Kelly "in England!"
They loved all their gifts, and Oliver wants to wear his glow in the dark PJ's tomorrow night when his friends have a sleepover!
I will let the pictures do the talking ...
Here we melted crayons and turned them into shapes - like dinosaurs, cars and rings!
This machine let us melt crayons and create "works of art!"
A giant jungle jim with animals to colour!
Here we made shapes filled with different coloured sand!
Airbrushing with Crayola washable marker pens :)
PRESENTS FROM ENGLAND!!!!
LOVED his personalized set of stationary!!
OMG .... C-H-O-C-O-L-A-T-E!!!!
We made him close his eyes, then counted down from 5 before we blasted him party poppers!!!
Of course he just had to have a go!
What a great birthday!!
Wish you all could have been here
