As you all know we had a few mechanical issues before we left, however thanks to the wonderful world of Enterprise Rent-a-car, and our flexible friend Mr. Mastercard, we managed to get a 2013 Hyundai Hybrid for the journey!
I think the issue with the Jetta and the Cruiser threw Rachel and I off our usually on-the-ball game, because we somehow managed to forget not only Oliver's bag of clothes, but a few other essentials as well!
Oh well, after getting re-aquainted with our flexible friend again we quickly remedied those problems!!
The weather up here is surprisingly mild - the highest temps we have seen is 61F - about 16C. Despite it being overcast, we have managed to avoid the rain which is nice.
We bought the kids a North Face each using Daddy's discount with Zappos.com through Jetsuite -- we all feel so posh!
Our accommodations here at the Blue Green resort started off a tad disappointing being that we were right next to the train tracks. As much as I enjoy experiencing everything Hershey has to offer (including how they take their delivery of sugar and such), being woken at 3am to the sound of said delivery doesn't do it for me!
So after a chat with the manager downstairs, we were swiftly relocated to a much quieter building where we all managed to get a sound nights sleep!!
We have ARRIVED!!
Aunt B painted Charlie's nails
Olivers new clothes!
At Hershey Park
The fun was more than she could bear!!
At the Chocolate factory
About to make our own chocolate bar!
Then we had yet MORE sugar, making cookies with edible paint!
More to come soon ....
Love from Hershey Park xx
Love love love the pictures - how cool to find North Face for the kiddos - we have been looking everywhere and they dont have childrens' sizes in the UK! Love Ollie's hat - and so pleased the sparkly boots fit! Looks like you are having a great and well earned vacation - lots of love xxx
