Yesterday we packed up the children and the trailer and headed to seven points campground off Percy Priest.
Weather was absolutely perfect for camping, clear skies, no wind, not a cloud in the sky and a balmy 77F/25C!
Apparently the English Easter bunny had visited Nashville and left eggs all over our campground - so without delay we set off on an Easter egg hunt mission with our BA bags in tow!!
Charlotte decided after this, that camping for her was now over (after she got to play in the "treehouse" that is) <--- tent to the rest of us!!!
So mummy and Charlie left and it was up to the boys to test their wits and survival skills in the wilderness.
How would we survive on just chocolates alone .....
Well as luck would have it, mummy had used her expert tracking and trapping skills the previous morning and provided ribs!!
Expertly cooked using the old fashioned heating method past down from generation to generation ... Tin foil! (Aluminum foil for our American readers!)
Gorgeous dinner view
Oliver enjoyed throwing rocks and blowing up balloons on the lakeAll in all a great evening.
I'm told Charlotte was a good girl last night, until this morning when she decided to play artist with a blue sharpie permanent marker .... I don't have the words!
We 4 xxxx
