On Friday, Rachel and I picked up Tweedledee and Tweedledum from school and headed out to the Bridgestone Arena in downtown Nashville.
Rachel had got us some great seats to see the circus!
Of course outside the arena we were met with protestors from Peta (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), and you cant help but wonder how the animals are really treated.
Although we agree these animals should be in the wild, we took solace in the fact todays rules and regulations are much more stringent than they were years ago.
With those blinders on, we marched onward!!
We were seated 2 rows from the front, and Oliver and Charlotte were enamored!
Im sure the sugar from the cotton candy (candy floss!) was a welcome boost especially as it was during nap time - suffice to say they came down from their sugar fueled sensory overload in the car on the way home!
After our loooooog naps, we had dinner and made Crepes while Rach popped out for a work meeting. I think they were a hit!!
Love to all
We 4 xxxx
p.s. I dont want to jinx it ...... but ..... Charlotte is now potty trained!! We have been (almost) accident free since 20th Jan --- BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER!!
