So it’s been a while since I’ve updated the Chronicles. I really do have the best of intentions but my phone stopped allowing me to upload videos on the go and I just never sit down with my phone and the data cable to transfer stuff over. I did tonight though!
So forget about what you were doing before you became aware of this post. We’re going to be here a few minutes.
Peeds has been to the Pediatricians office 4 times this month. Fevers, blood in his diapers, refusing to eat or drink. We’ve been through all of if this month. He has, as yet NOT been diagnosed with anything. I have no idea what’s going on. “Some kind of virus” is all they keep telling us. He’s in good spirits though so we’re not worried. We just hate it when he doesn’t feel well.
These pics are of Charlotte after her 6 month appointment at the Pediatrician’s office. She was a total star. Notice the little band-aids on her little thighs. She’s about 27 inches long now and weighs 14lbs, 3oz.
Before leaving the Pediatrician’s office we were told that if she doesn’t learn to sit up on her own by 7 months old, they want her to come back in and she’ll have to go through physical therapy. We’ve been trying to get her to do it, but she just doesn’t have it yet.
We also asked the doc about her soft spot on top of her head because it’s REALLY soft but she said that eve n though it’s a larger soft spot than she normally sees, her head circumference is totally normal and not to worry. The big thing we’re looking at there is that, where most babies soft spots firm up by 15 months, Charlottes will likely last to nearly age 2. AWESOME! We’ve been asked not to drop her on her head. So far, so good! Yay us!
Somedays they’re both so silly
Sweet little thing hanging with Daddy at Cracker Barrel
One fun afternoon in the park
Peeds new obsession is coloring Easter Eggs. I’m half tempted to go out and buy up a bunch of the kits in the after Easter Sale just so that I’ll have them available for him. He sat in that chair for over an hour coloring eggs and has asked to color eggs several times a day since then.
Then, after we colored them, we hunted them
Then we ate em
And then we needed a nap
After that we went to Easter dinner with our friends and hunted even more eggs
We had the kids’ photos taken on Monday for Charlotte’s 6-month shots. It’ll be a few weeks before I have them, but they’re going to be adorable. I just know it.
