Today as we venture out into the big wide world, Charlie will be dressed as the delicate little flower that she is.
This is a blog about my little family and the things that happen in our day to day lives. With any luck, this will enable our loved ones to keep track of what is going on with us.
Today as we venture out into the big wide world, Charlie will be dressed as the delicate little flower that she is.
Charlie’s cord fell off on the 29th so last night we were able to give her a bath in the tub for the first time. She was such a good girl. She grissled a little but didn’t cry at all until we took her out of the water. Sug and Cas did a great job!
Then afterwards we all passed her around and took pics
So it’s been days and days since my last update and I’m sorry about that!! Cas and Wendy arrived a few days ago and it’s just been a whirlwind of activity since they landed.
They’ve spoiled Peeds rotten with treats and sweets and toys.
A bag a treats from Wendy. Yummy!!!
This is a magnetic drawing toy that James picked out for him. MAJOR WIN!!! He absolutely Looooooooves this thing!!!
Here he is opening a pack a 4 – count them – 4 – squirt guns. These will be loads of fun for the 4 of us!
A bubble gun from Grandad!!! It was 40 degrees outside but he simply HAD to have that gun opened STAT so that he could play with it and none of us were about tell him, “No”.
Blocks from Daniel. He has really enjoyed playing with these.
His Zakumi toy that Wendy carried here in her hangbag all the way from South Africa. Peeds thinks the world of this toy. He calls him Kumi and puts him in timeout regularly.
Needless to say, we’re all having a great time, especially Peeds. But don’t think for a second that there isn’t a ton of stuff for Charlie as well. Jewelry and clothes and jackets and toys. She’s too small for most of it at the moment, but give her a few months and we’ll have her dolled up like a right little DIVA!!
Sug and I are truly lucky to have such wonderful friends and family who love our kids so much. We love you all!!!
Charlie is doing really well. She’s sleeping about 4 hours at a time at night so we’re only having to wake up with her one time, really. And since Peeds is sleeping until 8am we don’t really feel sleep deprived at all. They’re both eating well and doing all of those natural things that babies are supposed to do. Life is certainly good in the Clarke house!!
Here are a few shots of Oliver holding his baby with Daddy helping.
