We made it!

So after 2 days, 1650 miles, countless coffee, and enough diesel to power a small planet ... We arrived at Jackson Hole Wyoming!

This town is amazing!  Beautiful scenery, perfect weather, friendly people and delicious food! Not to mention 3 Starbucks to choose from which makes dad very happy!
It's no wonder property here costs mucho $$$.
On a side note - every other vehicle in this town is a Toyota (so they have good taste too ;)

We have been here just over 2 days, and are headed into Yellowstone in the morning.

Hopefully the next update will have pictures of bears and bison, oh my!

A brief pit stop somewhere in Nebraska

In the "Jackson Hole Carpark!"

The Antler Arches -- the gate way to Jackson Hole square since 1960

We went to the Gun Barrel for dinner and ate Bison, Elk and Buffalo! Grrrrrr!!

Couple of cool rigs (other than Toyotas) we have seen here

Rach - here is a Sportsmobile ... Please buy me this van man!!

Talk to you in Yellowstone!

School supplies

Oliver and the rest of the class of 2027 start Kindergarten in 3 weeks. We received the school supply list today. Bitter sweet trip to Target to fulfill his classroom needs.

I got everything but his backpack and lunchbox. I seem to remember getting to choose those on my own each fall.

Maybe Oliver and Daddy can go backpack shopping before the Yellowstone trip.

Charlotte singing!

Have to share with you a couple of really cute videos.
One of Charlotte signing a song from Cinderella and the other of her playing with her "Repunsel" dolly!
I had to be sneaky on that last one as she was acting camera shy - imagine that!

Love to all

Mother's Day at School

I visited the children at school today to have "Muffins with Mom". So cute! Sorry that I'm basically the worst selfie taker on earth. :-D

Easter egg hunt and camping

Yesterday we packed up the children and  the trailer and headed to seven points campground off Percy Priest.
Weather was absolutely perfect for camping, clear skies, no wind, not a cloud in the sky and a balmy 77F/25C!

Apparently the English Easter bunny had visited Nashville and left eggs all over our campground - so without delay we set off on an Easter egg hunt mission with our BA bags in tow!!

Chocolate and clothes - a girls best friend!

Chocolates were sooooo yummy!
Ask mummy - I think she approves! LOL

Charlotte decided after this, that camping for her was now over (after she got to play in the "treehouse" that is) <--- tent to the rest of us!!!
So mummy and Charlie left and it was up to the boys to test their wits and survival skills in the wilderness.
How would we survive on just chocolates alone .....
Well as luck would have it, mummy had used her expert tracking and trapping skills the previous morning and provided ribs!!
Expertly cooked using the old fashioned heating method past down from generation to generation  ... Tin foil! (Aluminum foil for our American readers!)

Gorgeous dinner view

Oliver enjoyed throwing rocks and blowing up balloons on the lake

Some evening glow light fun - thanks Easter bunny!!

Oliver's finest impression of a gollywog!

All in all a great evening.

I'm told Charlotte was a good girl last night, until this morning when she decided to play artist with a blue sharpie permanent marker .... I don't have the words!

Love you all

Daddy Daughter date night at Chick-fil-a, April 19th 2014

Chick-fil-a in Hermitage was hosting a Daddy/Daughter date night tonight that Charlotte and I went to!

They had a horse and carriage, balloons, princesses, and a whole host of other activities.

Needless to say Charlotte was in her element with all the other little princesses there!

We finished up the night with a doughnut from Dunkin Doughnuts to round off a perfect evening! :)

Camping tomorrow, stay tuned ...

On our way ...

Fun in the "Big Green Truck" on our way to Chick-Fil-A!

Waiting in line for 20 minutes to ride the horse and carriage!

Just to think only 1 year ago she was afraid of these guys!

Charlotte with Cinderella. Charlotte described her as "A Beautiful Princess!"

Being sassy on the way home!

Love you all xxxx
