Our first soccer practice

So today was our first soccer practice and all in all I’d say it was pretty great.  Our coach, Jason, has never played soccer and never coached either.  We love that.  We’re all going to learn together.  The other parents were all very friendly and the children got along smashingly.

 

At the end of practice Oli told us the 4 rules of soccer.

1. Share

2. Kick the ball into the net

3. Kick the ball to a friend

4. Only use your feet

We had a good chuckle.  Oh and then he sang the Humpty Dumpty nursery rhyme and at the end told me, “Humpty Dumpty should have been more careful, mommy”

Photo shoot with the ducks

Hi everyone! 

The pics below are from Charlotte's photo shoot over the week.  Oliver invited his friend Noah to come with us.  I'll add those photos later.

The Zoo

Daniel had his surgery yesterday.  The doctor closed it off and took it out so it won’t be troubling him anymore.  His post-op instructions directed him to walk as much as possible.  So once we woke up and he was able to get the soreness out, we got up and go moving.

Charlie Belle had another outfit to model from her modeling group which was black n white with a zebra pattern headband.  So we went to the zoo.  We decided to take the photos on the carouse which we thought would look adorable.  I don’t want to sound biased, but we weren’t wrong.  It was only 89 degrees but it was still BLAZING HOT. 

We rode the carousel, walked along the DinoTrek and played in the “Jungle Gym” then headed back to the AC for naptime.
